Three Point Shooting

From when he first signed in Detroit, Jerebko always had the three point shot in his arsenal. For his first three seasons, Jerebko shot 30.6 percent from behind the arc. That percentage showed him to be capable of making three pointer’s, but being far from efficient from long range.

Last season, Jerebko’s accuracy from deep improved dramatically though. Having averaged only 11.6 minutes per game, a career low for him in the NBA, Jerebko increased the rate at which he shot the long ball, and with great success.

In less than 12 minutes a game, Jerebko averaged 3.6 three point attempts and made an impressive 41.9 percent of them. This stat makes his insignificant minutes all the more puzzling, as the Pistons ranked 29th in the NBA in three point percentage, and where a team desperately in need of floor spacing all season.
