Chicago Bulls 2013-14 Player Grades: D.J. Augustin

Season highlight/lowlight

Augustin had his best month of the season in April—a span of seven games.

During that stretch, his averages included 19.4 points and 4.0 assists per game.

His best performance of the season came against the Boston Celtics on March 30.

In this game, Augustin torched the Celtics for 33 points, shooting an efficient 10-for-14 from the field, including 3-for-4 from distance.

Chicago went on to win the game 107-102.

Ironically, one of Augustin’s worse performances came against the same Celtics teams just 24 hours later.

For whatever reason, Augustin struggled to find a rhythm, scoring just four points while missing eight of his nine shot attempts.

On the positive side, he did record 11 assists, and most importantly, the Bulls won the game 94-80.
