From his days in college, Jenkins has never really done much more than shoot the ball. Whether that’s because of confidence, or that’s just what his coaches have wanted him to do; it’s impossible to tell. Jenkins seems to have the tools to do much more to contribute to a team though.

When Jenkins does find himself near the paint, which is pretty rare, he always appears to be a very capable rebounder. He shows little fear of larger bodies, and for a 6’4 wing, seems to have a knack at grabbing boards. If we look at his stats adjusted per 36 minutes for this season, Jenkins averaged an impressive 5.0 rebounds.

When Jenkins returns to health, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be able to replicate the variety that his teammate, and fellow shooter Kyle Korver has in his game. Korver averaged four boards and just under three assists per game this season, and if anything, Jenkins body should be able to do even more.
