Washington Wizards 102, CHICAGO BULLS 93
Game 1, Eastern Conference First Round
Nene was dominant in his first playoff game in three years and the Wizards finished strong after looking at times as if they were going to be blown out by the more playoff-seasoned Bulls.

Washington blitzed Chicago 18-6 over the final six minutes to pull away with the win in their first playoff appearance since 2008.

Nene had 24 points, Trevor Ariza added 18, John Wall went for 16 points and Marcin Gortat finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Kirk Hinrich and D.J. Augustin scored 16 points apiece for the Bulls, although Augustin was just 3-for-15 from the floor. Jimmy Butler added 15 points and three steals, Taj Gibson had 12 points and three blocks and Joakim Noah finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
