Game 1, Eastern Conference First Round
The Hawks spread the floor on the offensive end and Jeff Teague picked apart the Pacers, scoring a playoff career-high 28 points as the Hawks won their first road playoff game in three years.

The third quarter was key as Atlanta outscored the Pacers 30-16 after playing to a 50-50 standoff in the first half. The Pacers were just 5-for-19 in the quarter and spent much of the second half down by double digits.

The win by Atlanta came two weeks to the day after the Hawks went into Bankers Life Fieldhouse and embarrassed the Pacers, holding them to 23 first-half points and taking a 35-point halftime lead. This time around, Atlanta did its damage after intermission, outscoring the Pacers 51-43 in the second half.

Paul Millsap added 25 points for the Hawks, DeMarre Carroll finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds and Elton Brand logged three blocked shots.

Paul George had 24 points, 10 rebounds and four steals for the Pacers, but was just 6-for-18 from the floor. Lance Stephenson scored 19 points.

Game Ball To: Teague set the tone, scoring 14 of his 28 points during the decisive third period, and also had five assists while going 9-for-10 from the foul line.
