Soaring Rested San Antonio Hopes to Ride March Momentum into Playoffs

Despite letting the Bulls come back some, the bench has been a reliable catalyst most of the season and is largely why the Spurs have won 16 in a row. Most notably San Antonio’s reserves are praised for compiling more than 50 points a contest.

Just as important though is the defensive intensity Manu Ginobili, Cory Joseph, Patty Mills and others have brought with them to the court often extending leads or shrinking deficits. If the Spurs are able to maintain the focus they’ve had nearly all of March come April, May and June then a fifth NBA Championship awaits.
