LeBron James dropped in a layup to give the Heat the lead with 11.4 seconds left and Chris Bosh blocked Damian Lillard’s layup on the final play. Miami squandered a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter before getting the win. James scored 32 points and had four steals for the Heat, while Bosh finished with 15 points and four steals. Chris Andersen added 11 rebounds. Lillard paced the Blazers with 19 points, Mo Williamd added 17 and Wesley Matthews tossed in 15. Nicolas Batum had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

CHICAGO BULLS 89, Indiana Pacers 77
The Bulls downed the Eastern Conference-leading Pacers and got within percentage points of Toronto for third place in the East. Taj Gibson scored 23 points for Chicago and Kirk Hinrich added 18. Carlos Boozer grabbed 10 rebounds and Joakim Noah finished with four steals and three blocked shots. Paul George led the Pacers with 21 points on 8-of-22 shooting and had four steals. George Hill added 17 points. Lance Stephenson yanked down 10 boards.
