Taj Gibson has to be a force

One of the bright spots for the Bulls this season has been the improved play of Taj Gibson.

He is averaging a career-high in points with 13.2 per outing, and he is hitting the outside jump shot with a bit more consistency (40 percent between 16 and 23 feet).

However, the Bulls forward was almost a no-show in the Pacers 91-79 win a few nights ago.

Although Gibson scored seven points, he was just 1-of-6 from the field, and he fouled in just 22 minutes of action.

After the game, Gibson stated that the Pacers have a lot of floppers and that his lack of aggressive was a result of how the game was officiated.

Although there were some questionable calls, the Bulls big man cannot allow the officiating to dictate how he plays.

If Gibson plays with his normal level of intensity of both ends of the floor, Chicago has a very good chance of winning this game.
