Chicago Bulls vs. Indiana Pacers: Game Preview
Limit Luis Scola
Wait, what?
Why would I discuss Luis Scola when you have Paul George and Roy Hibbert to worry about?
Well, although George and Hibbert are the first names that come to mind when you mention the Pacers, they were a combined 6-of-23 from the field the last time these two teams met.
For whatever reason, the Bulls were unable to defend Scola effectively, and as result, he had little difficulty putting the ball in the basket.
In fact, Scola led all scorers with 19 points and grabbed six rebounds, while connecting on nine of his 12 shot attempts.
It goes without saying that you have to play hard-nosed defense when guarding your opponent’s star players, but if you allow the role players to score with relative ease, a loss is still very possible.
That being said, Chicago must defend every player on the floor if they hope to defeat a Pacers team gunning for the top seed in the conference.
