Green made a name for himself last postseason as a three-point specialist, making a record 27 threes in last year’s NBA Finals. So far this year, Green has battled injuries and ineffectiveness, with the signing and emergence of Marco Bellineli cutting into his minutes. However, if San Antonio is to make noise in the West this year (something they’re accustomed to doing), Green is going to need to provide them with perimeter defense and knock-down three-point shooting.
