Washington Wizards 114, ATLANTA HAWKS 97

Wall’s World — John Wall’s run of success continues, as he scored 21 with five rebounds and 12 assists as the Wizards ran away from the Hawks. Marcin Gortat scored 14 with 12 rebounds and two blocks as the Wizards shot 51.7 percent from the field and 13-for-24 from the 3-point line. The Hawks got 21 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals from Paul Millsap.

New York Knicks 98, NEW ORLEANS PELICANS 91

Melo Out — The Knicks will be just fine…if Carmelo Anthony scores 42 points with three steals and two blocks every night. J.R. Smith added 19 from the bench, with Tim Hardaway Jr. scoring 16. Raymond Felton scored just five points with seven rebounds and eight assists in what could be his last with the Knicks. Eric Gordon led the Pelicans with 28.

MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES 104, Indiana Pacers 91

Loving Minny — Kevin Love scored 42 points with 16 rebounds to top Paul George’s 35 points with 11 rebounds. The Wolves never trailed and led by as many as 20 points. Ricky Rubio scored six, but had seven rebounds, 17 assists and two steals. The Pacers shot just 40.2 percent from the field and made just 6-of-22 3-point attempts.
