CHARLOTTE BOBCATS 116, Detroit Pistons 98

Glass Control — The Pistons are coming off of a game in which their frontcourt all put up a double-double with rebounds. The Bobcats made it a point of emphasis and outrebounded them 49-31. Kemba Walker scored 24 with five rebounds, 16 assists and two steals. The Pistons were led by Brandon Jennings and his 20 points, six assists and three steals.

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 101, Orlando Magic 93

No Sweat — The Cavaliers led by as many as 21 and never trailed, as Kyrie Irving scored 22 points, with seven rebounds and even assists. Jarrett Jack started for the injured Dion Waiters and scored 10 with six rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. The Magic got 23 from Arron Afflalo and 20 from Nikola Vucevic.

Chicago Bulls 94, TORONTO RAPTORS 92

Stranglehold — The Bulls defense is relentless, that’s all there is to it. The Bulls shot 50 percent while holding the Raptors to 42.2 percent and just 3-for-17 from the 3-point line. Carlos Boozer led with 20 points, Mike Dunleavy added 11 rebounds and Joakim Noah dished 13 dimes. Kyle Lowry was held to just 16 with DeMar DeRozan scoring 32.
