Goose Egg Award (awarded to player with most minutes and zero points)

I still can’t figure out if Nick Collison is underrated, overrated or properly rated. We know he’s our Goose Egg winner, as he played 15:37 and missed the only shot he took, ending with zero points. He did chip in with four rebounds, three assists and a steal, so at least he produced something.

Clean and Sober Award (most minutes without taking a shot)

Perry Jones played an absolutely perfect five minutes on Thursday night. He recorded absolutely no stats at all! Nary a foul, a turnover or an accidental rebound. It’s not easy to put up that kind of perfection in any significant amount of time and yes — five minutes is significant enough.

Iron Man Award (most minutes played)

The man with Joe Johnson’s number wins out Iron Man award for the night, as Jimmy Butler played 46:02, putting up 14 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks. He turned it over just once and committed just two fouls. Well done, Jimmy.
