BROOKLYN NETS 89, Cleveland Cavaliers 82

A Brooklyn Win Streak—Granted, it’s only two games, but the way things have gone for the Nets this year? They’ll take it. Kyrie Irving didn’t play for the Cavs, missing a second straight game with a bruised knee. Cleveland made it interesting in the third quarter after trailing 51-38 at the half, cutting the Nets’ lead to just two, but Brooklyn righted the ship to get the win. Deron Williams led the Nets with 21 points, Paul Pierce scored 17 and Reggie Evans had 11 rebounds. Dion Waiters had a game-high 26 points for the Cavaliers, C.J. Miles tossed in 19 points and Anderson Varejao grabbed 12 boards.

CHICAGO BULLS 91, Atlanta Hawks 84

Dunleavy Does It—Mike Dunleavy scored 11 points in the fourth quarter and the Bulls held Atlanta to nearly 20 points less than its season average. Dunleavy led the Bulls with 20 points, Luol Deng finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds and Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah each had 12 rebounds. Paul Millsap scored 16 points to go with 12 rebounds and Jeff Teague also scored 16 points.
