A few weeks ago, Ben McLemore was rumored by some to be on the move. Since then the rookie sensation has started to do exactly what he needs to in order to be successful for the Sacramento Kings: being a reliable scoring option.

In the month of December, McLemore is averaging more than 12 points per game while shooting 38 percent from the field. The numbers aren’t spectacular but they are much better than they have been and his overall game play is improving. McLemore is becoming more assertive on the offensive end and doesn’t turn the ball over very often (barely more than one per game).

Sacramento may not be winning games, but the combination of franchise player DeMarcus Cousins and McLemore has a bright future for the Kings.
