This summer in free agency, the Golden State Warriors should target these five players who are seeking an NBA championship and might take a discount.

The Golden State Warriors have major free agency questions facing them. While re-signing Andre Iguodala is a primary concern, smaller but important questions remain regarding the bench and role players.  With only five players currently under contract for the 2018 season, there are numerous scenarios that could play out.

Even though Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are still the most formidable combination of players in the league, Golden State’s front office must provide them with quality reinforcements. The Warriors need to find talent while being mindful of the salary cap and the future.

A major benefit of winning a title is that free agents, particularly veterans, are willing to accept less money in exchange for a chance at winning an NBA championship.  These five players offer experience and skill sets that could translate positively for the Warriors next season.
