The Cleveland Cavaliers have been the presumptive favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in the finals since the season began. And through six postseason contests, they have lived up to those expectations.

They swept the Detroit Pistons in the first round and followed that up with 104-93 win over the Atlanta Hawks in Game 1 of their second-round series despite giving up an 18-point lead. Being that the Hawks played reasonably well in the series opener, one could expect a more competitive contest in Game 2, right?

Wrong.

The Cavaliers imposed their will early and often. In fact, the game was over at halftime, with the home team building an insurmountable 74-38 lead before cruising to a 123-98 victory to take a 2-0 lead in the series. With the win, the Cavs improved their postseason mark to an impressive 6-0. Here are some of the most notable takeaways from Game 2 between the Cavaliers and Hawks.
