7. Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns have an abundance of draft picks and intriguing trade assets. As it presently stands, Phoenix has both the fourth and 13th-best lottery odds, with additional draft picks at No. 28 and No. 34 overall.

Three first-round draft picks, as well as intriguing players such as Brandon Knight, Alex Len, and T.J. Warren, give Phoenix all of the necessary assets to execute a trade.

Eric Bledsoe and DeMarcus Cousins were teammates as members of the Kentucky Wildcats, which creates the foundation for their potential success in Phoenix. Bledsoe has experienced his fair share of injuries, but when healthy, he’s one of the most well-rounded players in the NBA.

Bledsoe’s 2015-16 averages of 20.4 points, 6.1 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals on a slash line of .453/.372/.802 should be evidence enough.

With Cousins’ remarkable versatility already established, this duo, along with Devin Booker, could be the foundation for Phoenix’s future. Tyson Chandler’s presence, meanwhile, could prove invaluable in Cousins’ maturation into a leader of a championship contender.

Phoenix may be low on this list, but it actually has the best combination of assets—two lottery picks, high-level talent, and upside players—to get this trade done.
