NBA Stock Exchange: Stars In The Present And Stars For The Future
By Adam McGee
The latest edition of the NBA Stock Exchange is here to help you figure out who’s trending up and who’s trending down around the league.
Welcome to Week 3 of the NBA Stock Exchange, one of HoopsHabit’s newest regular columns!
Every Friday, I’ll be here to take you on a trip around the league where we try to get to grips with some of the league’s most important, or in many cases, most surprising trends.
Should you buy, sell, or hold your favorite NBA stock? From the smallest intricacies in an individual player’s games to the strategies employed by coaches and their teams, I’ll put it all under the microscope to decide what’s worth believing in, and what simply isn’t going to work out.
This week I’m buying I’m feeling confident, and therefore dealing in “certainties.” We won’t be holding on anything for this week.
I’m buying into a role player who’s still a star, a quality 3-and-D option, a young player still tracking for expectations, one of the league’s smartest defenses and a talent-nurturing coach.
Then finally, I’m selling the hopes of a one-time contender, the timeline of one of the league’s up and coming squads, and the attitude of a controversial figure.
So, without further ado, let’s get down to it!
