With the new NBA season now merely days away, it’s time to really get excited about what this season could hold for the Orlando Magic. While expectations remain pretty modest, a new head coach in Scott Skiles and more young talent mean this is a team that could make a bit of noise in the less competitive Eastern Conference.

With that in mind, let’s take a more in depth look at the starting five the team will likely lead with on opening night.

Already we’ve looked at Elfrid Payton, Victor Oladipo and Nikola Vucevic. Now we turn our attentions to the forwards and Tobias Harris. This summer he was signed to a new long-term deal at four years and $64 million.

Worth noting as well is the fact there was no early player or team option, and no early termination escape window worked into the deal if it wasn’t working out for both sides. The overriding question for his personal development this season is whether he’ll continue to develop as he has. Or will he stagnate now that he’s received a large sum of money?
