Draft time is almost here!

More from Utah Jazz

One of the most exciting times of the year is none other than the NBA Draft. Because we finally officially know that the Utah Jazz are picking No. 12 there’s a lot of hope on the shoulders of that pick. At worst the pick doesn’t pan out.

If they get the pick right, the Jazz once again could make another home run selection.

That’s why the second-round pick becomes more valuable. Since a lot of players in the 2nd round have the stigma attached to their name of being more seasoned, the Jazz could add in a mature piece to their young team.

Let’s keep in mind that Draymond Green, Gilbert Arenas, Trevor Ariza, Isaiah Thomas, Lance Stephenson, DeAndre Jordan and Marc Gasol were selected in the second round. The Jazz will be picking twice with picks No. 42 and No. 54.

Let’s look at some of their targets.
