I recently wrote a story about how the SEC is one of the most underrated basketball conferences in college basketball. Thanks to the SEC/Big 12 Challenge we finally got to see if it was true. The SEC played well in most of their games but in a lot of games their teams couldn’t close out late.

The result of the mixture of inconsistency between the SEC teams ultimately cost them bragging rights over the Big 12. They lost the challenge, 6-4. The results were not indicative of the talent that the SEC has. In fact, the SEC could’ve easily had eight wins if the Florida Gators, Auburn Tigers, and Ole Miss Rebels had played better down the stretch.

Nevertheless, the challenge was a fun competition to watch and we got to see a lot of great basketball moments because of it.

With that being said, here are of best performances from players in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.
