Korver’s Path To Selection

Kyle Korver has had an incredible couple of years, with both his performance on the court, and profile off of it, reaching unfamiliar heights. Korver works as hard as any player in the league, as highlighted by Zach Lowe’s outstanding recent feature for Grantland, and his effort has clearly paid off.

Not only did Korver make NBA history with his streak of consecutive games with a made 3-pointer, but he also led the league in 3-point percentage at 47.2 percent. Combine this with Korver’s much improved passing skills, and vastly underrated defense, and it should be no surprise that Team USA wanted him involved.
