The Golden State Warriors have quickly found another "splash brother" in Buddy Hield who has been lights out to begin the 2024-2025 season. Hield was supposed to be a minor piece into what should have been a bigger offseason for the Warriors but he ended up being one of the main pieces added to their roster.

If we take a look at his numbers from his first four games in a Warriors uniform, we can see him putting up some of the best shooting percentages of his career. Hield is shooting 51.7% from the field and 55.6% from beyond the arc.

The Warriors are such a great suit for Hield's play style which is why he has been thriving thus far as a member of this organization. Now I know that it way too early in the season to jump to any conclusions, however, his shooting has never been a subject of question rather it has been his consistency that has been heavily looked at throughout the years.

Buddy Hield is quickly making fans forget about Klay Thompson.

With Stephen Curry on the bench for the next two games, possibly more, the Warriors turn to their other talent to get them the victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Now when you see a lineup without Curry, fans may automatically assume that this is an L in the loss column.

In terms of the first of two games against the Pelicans, Buddy Hield had other plans in store for them. After only scoring nine points in the first three quarters, Hield came out firing in the fourth. He scored 19 points by being 6-8 from the field and a perfect 4-4 from three-point land.

Hield is now ranked second in the NBA at the moment for most made three-pointers with 20 just two behind Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He played a major part in the Warriors 20-point comeback for not just their first win at home but also their third win of the season.

Fan reactions to his performance thus far has been positive.

Dub Nation sang Buddy Hield's praises after his powerful fourth quarter performance. Fans are really excited to see how well he is jelling with the Warriors offense.

Buddy Hield loves the game of basketball just as much as anyone else does in the NBA so it is great to see him get rewarded for all the hard work that he has been putting in.
