Holgren is holding his own among the elite

When first coming into the NBA many people were petrified of Holmgren's skeletal frame which looks like it could blow away if you just had a fan blow on it... That's how skinny he is. He did however put on some muscle the year he sat out, putting on around 12-15 lbs but still has a slender frame.

Many questioned if he could handle the star bigs of the league a la Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic, Anthony Davis, and Giannis Antetokounmpo to name a few. He struggled against Jokic and AD but had a great duel against the reigning league MVP in Embiid where he held his own.

Holmgren has been great all season, but seeing this type of performance against perhaps the second-best big man in the league and the reigning MVP has to have Thunder and NBA fans raving about his future and voters scratching their heads on whether to choose him or Wembanyama.
