Dybantsa is a scoring savant

People love seeing a player put the ball in the basket, making it look effortless. What makes Dybantsa so unique is he can do this at all three levels: At the rim, midrange, and from beyond the arc at an efficient level. His elevation on his jumper at 6'8 with his long arms and long limbs is reminiscent of Durant and George.

He also possesses the wiry strength of a Giannis to bully defenders to the rim and finish strong with an emphatic slam or tough finish. His quick-twitch athleticism is something that doesn't come around often.

In this video you can see the power when he explodes to the basket, being decisive with his movements and decisions which is rare for a young player. Dybantsa won the 2023 Massachusetts Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year as a freshman, averaging 19.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game after leading Saint Sebastians to the NEPSAC Class A Title game. He only continued to get better.

After his freshman season, Dybantsa transferred to Prolific Prep. In July 2023, he led the Nike Peach Jam in scoring with Expressions Elite. He was fourth in EYBL, scoring at 22.6 PPG this summer, where he paired alongside the No.1 recruit in 2026, Tyran Stokes, on the Oakland Soldiers.

Dybantsa's movement on the court as a scorer reminds me of Tracy McGrady in his heyday. He scores effortlessly from anywhere with the quickness and agility to get wherever he wants without seeming to break a sweat.

Truly a special offensive talent who has a chance to be a primary scoring option for an NBA team one day.
