Philadelphia 76ers: What if Kawhi Leonard missed his iconic buzzer-beater in Game 7?

For such a storied franchise, the Philadelphia 76ers have quite a few big what-ifs. What if they didn't agree to trade up to draft Markelle Fultz with the Boston Celtics while they took Jayson Tatum? What if they were able to keep Jimmy Butler rather than see him go to Miami and have them reach the Eastern Conference Finals three times and the NBA Finals twice?

However, perhaps the biggest one was: what if Kawhi Leonard missed his iconic buzzer-beater in Game 7 of the 2019 East Semi-Finals? That would have given the Sixers another chance in overtime to try and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they would have played the Bucks.

It's possible that they would have lost to Milwaukee, but had they not, they would have faced the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, where the Warriors quickly fell apart with injuries to Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. Ultimately, losing the way they did likely contributes to the what-if, but considering they were minutes away from the conference finals, it's hard not to wonder how things could have played out.
