The dream postseason matchup for each potential NBA playoff team 

4 vs 5: Timberwolves vs Pelicans

The number 1 overall pick in the 2020 draft, Anthony Edwards, vs. the number 1 overall pick in the 2019 draft, Zion Williamson. Both of these rosters are brimming with talent but have yet to break through in the postseason to this point.

While the series only lasted five games, there is an argument to be made that the Timberwolves gave the eventual champion Denver Nuggets their biggest test in last season's first round. This series could represent a true coming-out party for the Timberwolves and really put their budding superstar Edwards on the map. 

On the flip side, this series would give Williamson the opportunity to finally put to bed all of the criticisms about him to this point in his career. If he is able to take down Edwards, a player viewed as better than him in the pantheon of young stars, it would force everybody to reassess how they view Zion in the grand scheme of things.
