2 vs 7: Clippers vs Lakers
NBA fans have been starving for this series since Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined the Clippers in the summer of 2019. The storylines in this one are almost too much to keep up with. Lebron James and Anthony Davis vs. the Clippers four future Hall of Famers, including Russell Westbrook, just a year removed from his nightmarish Lakers tenure.
The fact is that the Clippers shared a building with the Lakers last year before opening their own arena next season. The long history of the Clippers playing second fiddle to the Lakers in Los Angeles. James Harden's latest attempt at exercising his playoff demons.
The star power and sheer amount at stake could rival some NBA finals. This would be as good of a first-round matchup as you could ask for. The Lakers have a long lineage of championships and great players, playing the role of underdogs against the “Little Brother” Clippers. This one feels almost too good to be true.
