3 vs 6: Bucks vs Pacers

The Bucks and Pacers have all the makings of a great rivalry, having already authored some of this season's most memorable games. Because of the play-in tournament, the teams have already matched up five times this season, with the Pacers surprisingly getting the better of the Bucks four times, including in the tournament's semi-finals.

In the semi-final matchup on December 7th, budding Pacers superstar Tyrese Haliburton was unstoppable down the stretch and even mocked Damian Lillard’s famous “Dame Time” celebration after a late three pointer.

When the teams met again less than a week later, it was clear the Bucks and specifically Giannis Antetokounmpo, had taken things personally. Giannis exploded for a career high of 64 points before the infamous incident where he ran into the Pacers locker room, accusing them of purposely taking the game ball.

The Pacers are a young, high-powered offense led by Haliburton and the newly acquired Pascal Siakam. The Bucks have underwhelmed this season; however, they still have one of the best players alive in Giannis and a multitude of playoff experience, having won the title just 3 years ago. There is nothing better than a series between two teams with already-existing bad blood and there is no shortage of that between these Midwest rivals.
