We're about a third of the way through the 2023–24 NBA season, which makes it the perfect time to check on teams around the league. Today, we're going to take a quick look at every team's best player on a bargain contract.

For the sake of simplicity, we're only going to look at the contracts based on the cap figure each player accounts for this season, per Spotrac. What is the best bargain contract for each NBA team for the 2023-24 season?

For a contract to be considered the "best" bargain deal for a team, the player also has to be someone of note. That's not always going to mean a starter, but being in the rotation and providing valuable minutes at a moment's notice while making pennies compared to teammates is a good way to make this list.
