30) Brandon Ingram

At the moment of writing, New Orleans Pelicans star Brandon Ingram is apparently on the trade block, with his future in The Big Easy uncertain. Nevertheless, no matter which team he plays for next season, he has done enough to make me one of the 50 greatest players of 2020 so far.

When he was drafted second overall by the Los Angeles Lakers back in 2016, it wasn't a certainty that he would make the cut considering he had a rather poor rookie season. Fortunately for him, he was traded to the Pelicans and Anthony Davis has developed into a perennial 20-point per game scorer over the last five seasons. Ingram has averaged a terrific 23.1 points, 5.2 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game.

While there are concerns about his hierarchy on a good team, he is a consistent offensive weapon, albeit one who misses 20 games a season. That might limit his ceiling but his floor is quite good. At 26, Ingram should still be a very good player by the end of the decade, though his long-term health and which team he will be on remain a question mark.
