39) Bradley Beal

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Washington Wizards, including the first four years of the 2020s. After former teammate John Wall began to decline due to injuries and was eventually traded, Beal took on an increased offensive role with the Wizards, averaging more than 30 points per game in back-to-back seasons.

While he was one of the NBA's most prolific scorers in the first half of the 2020s, he struggled to stay healthy, playing 60 games or fewer three times in the last five seasons. Now that he is in Phoenix, he will hopefully have better health but will have to share the ball with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, which will likely lead to a gradual decrease in scoring output for Beal.

With only one All-Star appearance and one All-NBA appearance in the 2020s, he was undervalued at his peak but is still on pace to reach the 20,000-point milestone by decade's end. That alone wouldn't guarantee him a place on the greatest players of the 2020s list, given that it would be more of a career achievement. But at 31, it's not crazy to think that he could still have three more strong seasons in him before he declines.
