19) Paul George

LA Clippers star Paul George is another surprising inclusion on this list, considering he has been a prolific scorer for most of his career. In fact, George has averaged at least 20 points per game in 10 of his 14 seasons, including a career-high 28 per game during the 2018–19 season as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Even during that season, George failed to reach 50 points, though he came close twice, dropping 47 points in both games. That was just two of his 21 career 40-point games—more than most players on this list—and his eight games of 45 or more put him in rare air, particularly among those who have failed to score 50 in a game.

Also, unlike many players on this list, George still has an opportunity to join the 50-point club despite being 33 years old. He's currently averaging 23.5 points per game, well above his career average, proving that he hasn't fallen off as a scorer and giving him a chance to have a 50-point outburst.

That is largely dependent on his health, which has been a major question mark since joining the Clippers. But if he can stay healthy going forward, then he will have a chance.
