7) Jerry West

Jerry West, known as "The Logo," cannot be ignored when considering the basketball shooting guards who have had the most influence throughout history. His contribution to the sport surpassed mere numbers and recognition. With an outstanding record of nine NBA Finals appearances and one championship, West solidified his place among the most significant point guards ever.

From 1960 to 1974, West was a Los Angeles Lakers basketball team member. He achieved significant milestones throughout his career, including winning one championship in 1972. His performance statistics were impressive, averaging 27.0 points per game, 5.8 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 2.6 steals.

Notably, he was honored several times for his exceptional skills, such as being named the Finals MVP in 1969, being selected as an All-Star 14 times, becoming the scoring champion in 1970, and leading in assists in 1972. These achievements eventually led him to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
