1) Kevin Willis

While many of the players on this list were role players, Kevin Willis made an all-star team in addition to being a role player. Willis logged playing time in three different decades, starting in 1984–85 with the Atlanta Hawks and spending his first 11 seasons there.

In 1991–92, he made his first and only all-star team, averaging 18.3 points and 15.5 rebounds per game. Despite his long tenure there, he bounced around after Atlanta, playing for the Hawks, Miami Heat, and Golden State Warriors in a two-year span before joining the Houston Rockets in 1996–97.

He then joined the Toronto Raptors, played half a season for the Denver Nuggets, and then rejoined the Rockets in 2001-02. In 208 games with the Rockets, Willis posted 11.8 points and 7.4 rebounds. At the age of 40, he joined the San Antonio Spurs in 2002–03 as a backup to David Robinson, where he won a championship in 2003.

Willis then returns to the Hawks briefly before retiring, only to make a comeback at the age of 44 with, you guessed it, the Dallas Mavericks. Of the nine players to complete the Texas Triangle, Willis is the most high-profile after logging 1424 games and making an all-star and all-NBA team.
