The San Antonio Spurs appear to have been one of the offseason's big winners thanks to several smart moves, namely signing Chris Paul. Paul will likely help the Spurs improve dramatically after missing the playoffs the last five years, the longest stretch in franchise history.

He could also help rising star Victor Wembanyama make the leap into superstardom, which seems to only be a matter of time. Especially after he nearly led Team France to a gold medal over Team USA at just the age of 20. Wembanyama having a superstar turn would help the Spurs get back into title contention sooner than expected.

However, FS1's Nick Wright proposed a shocking 3-team trade involving the Spurs and two former rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, on First Things First recently. While the Spurs are on the rise, the Lakers and Warriors have at the very least peaked, if not fallen, so each could use a big trade, assuming that the deal makes sense for both teams.

Up next, we will take a look at Wright's shocking proposed 3-team trade involving the Spurs, Lakers, and Warriors and see if it makes sense for each team.
