Ranking each Western Conference playoff team based on their best player

16 teams. Only one can hoist the Larry O’Brien in June. The NBA playoffs are here. This field is crowded. Especially in the Western Conference. The West is littered with talent all across the board. There are the Denver Nuggets, who are the defending NBA champion and are a favorite to do it once again.

Then there are the Oklahoma City Thunder, the youngest team in the league and the youngest one-seed ever. There are also veteran teams like the Lakers, Clippers, and Mavericks who are looking to break through and achieve their championship dreams.

This conference is stacked from top to bottom with elite teams, with no clear favorite to come out. Which makes ranking these teams 1-8 tough. However, I have an easier way: ranking them based on their best player. Here is my ranking of the Western Conference playoff teams based on their best player.
