5) OG Anunoby
The New York Knicks traded for OG Anunoby earlier this season with the expectation that they would re-sign him this summer. In fact, there were even reports of him wanting a four-year, $150 million contract and the Knicks still being willing to bring him back. However, with Anunoby missing significant time over the second half of the season and missing part of their playoff run, his return is far from certain.
The Knicks themselves might be less willing to pay what it may take to keep him, even though they gave up RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to acquire him. Fortunately for the Knicks, they didn't give up any first-round picks in the deal, which might help them cut their losses.
Were they to balk at re-signing him, the Sixers would be the ideal landing spot for one of the best two-way wings in the NBA. Especially with his former coach, Nick Nurse, coaching the Sixers and possibly being a selling point for Anunoby.
