4)Jerami Grant-Best fit: Los Angeles Lakers

Jerami Grant has flown under the radar the last couple of seasons, given the fact that Portland has fallen out of contention. However, he has remained a consistent offensive weapon for the Blazers, averaging over 20 PPG on 46 percent shooting and 40 percent from three over the last two seasons.

Grant has taken a small stepback defensively, a product of playing on one of the worst defensive teams in the league and taking on an increased offensive role. He still has the ability to guard multiple positions due to his length and bigger body at 6’7”. The Los Angeles Lakers could use his skill set.

The Lakers have had a quiet offseason, with their biggest additions being drafting Dalton Knecht and hiring J.J. Redick. With LeBron James not showing any signs of slowing down and Anthony Davis being one of the more dominant big men in the NBA, LA needs to maximize their roster in a tough Western Conference. Adding Grant to the fold would help them a lot on both ends.

His shooting ability would be vital playing next to a playmaker like James. Grant and Davis would also form a stout defensive duo with a lot of length to bother players on the perimeter and the paint as well. His contract may be an obstacle to a potential move (4 years, $129 million left), but Grant would be an upgrade at the forward spot and the Lakers should go after him before the season begins.
