Predicting where the NBA's top 20 free agents will play in 2024–25

12. Tobias Harris - Detroit Pistons
It feels like Tobias Harris is destined to find a change of scenery this off-season. After spending the past five and a half years with the Philadelphia 76ers, it feels like the two sides will go their separate ways as the latter aims to pursue bigger fish with their ample amount of cash - more on a couple of names they could very likely land later.
On a recent episode of the HoopsHype Podcast, Michael Scotto said that the Detroit Pistons will be among the teams interested in striking a deal with Harris. With a tremendous amount of spending money to use, Detroit may be able to outbid any other potential suitors if they are locked in on Harris as a prize in free agency.
Harris is no stranger to Detroit, having played for them between the 2015-18 seasons. The roster is very different now, but Harris could be a veteran piece for this young team, providing leadership and strong on-court play. Harris catches plenty of negative press from fans for his efforts at times but is still a career 16.3-point-per-game scorer. A player like that could certainly help the Pistons.
If the Pistons are willing to spend, Harris will likely end up back in Detroit, it seems.
