18. Tyus Jones - Washington Wizards

After strong showings in Minnesota and Memphis, Tyus Jones landed with the Washington Wizards last off-season. It initially felt like he was a prime candidate to get traded to help the Wizards acquire more assets, but they ultimately kept him. Now, it feels like this partnership could extend beyond just one season.

Jones has primarily been a sixth man in his career, but he was given the keys as the full-time starter with the Washington Wizards this past season. He didn't disappoint, averaging 12 points, 7.3 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 0.3 blocks per game, career bests across the board. Due to that, he'll be in the market for a big payday, and the Wizards should oblige.

Washington holds Jones' bird rights, so they can offer him an incredibly desirable contract once free agency begins. On top of that, he more than likely wants to remain a starter, something that not a lot of other teams across the association would be willing to offer. He's familiar with this system and could continue coming out as a starter every night while earning a nice payday.

If this team will work its way back into contention anytime soon, keeping one of their best players feels like an obvious decision.
