Predicting where 5 heavily rumored targets will land at the 2024 NBA Trade Deadline

Dorian Finney-Smith - Philadelphia 76ers
While he is not the flashiest name on the market, Dorian Finney-Smith is a role player many teams will be attempting to pry away from the Brooklyn Nets before the deadline. He's a versatile forward who's able to defend multiple positions while also being a reliable 3-point shooter. That said, one team that seems primed to make a run at him is the Philadelphia 76ers.
Despite trading away James Harden to start the season, the 76ers have looked great. Acquiring an experienced and versatile defender like Finney-Smith could help them even further. He'd be a great fit with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, taking on the tough assignments on a nightly basis. Philadelphia does indeed have previous interest in Finney-Smith, per Scotto's previously mentioned article.
What makes the 76ers a legitimate landing spot for the forward is their combination of draft capital and expiring contracts, both of which the Nets could see attractive in a trade. Philadelphia is also in the market for a two-way player, as veteran NBA insider Marc Stein recently reported. Finney-Smith certainly fits the billing.
If a bidding war does take place, the 76ers have the assets to stay in until the very end, especially considering that the forward is on a decent deal at around $13 million this season.
