Seller #1: Atlanta Hawks

The Trae Young Dejounte Murray backcourt was ultimately a failure, and the Hawks traded Murray this past summer to the New Orleans Pelicans. It feels as if a rebuild is on the way. They landed the number one pick, Zaccharie Risacher, who had a solid summer league debut and could be an elite shooter, but it's tough to say how much impact he’ll have in year one.

Trae young has been adamant about wanting to win, and the Hawks aren’t trending in that direction. Atlanta has been home for Young since he entered the league in 2018, and has led them as far as the Eastern Conference Finals.

However if nothing changes, he could very well request a trade with desired destinations which is a nightmare for a front office. The Hawks either need to show apparent effort to win by making a big move, or jump the gun on Young’s potential request listen to trade offers for him on their terms.

Clint Capella, Bogdan Bogdoanovic. DeAndre Hunter are talented players that have value in the league. Expect all of these players to be available, as the team may want a fresh start.

It’ll be exciting to see who else emerges as a buyer or seller as the season unfolds.
