Seller #2: Chicago Bulls

The Bulls were able to move on from Demar Derozan in a three-team deal, getting back Chris Duarte and two second-round picks. They also traded Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey, who has shown promise and could be their point guard of the future.

The Bulls are finally attempting to rebuild. With the 14th pick, they drafted Matas Buzelis, who could be the steal of the draft. Colby White was a most improved player candidate last year, so there is some young talent for fans to look forward to watching.

Zach Lavine is in year 3 of a massive 5-year contract of 212 million, which makes moving him challenging. He also missed most of last season, playing only 25 games. The market for Lavine has dried up significantly, and at this rate, it will only continue to shrivel.

The Bulls might have to settle for a lackluster deal just to move on from the contract. Nikola Vucevic, on the other hand, is in his second year of a three-year, 60 million deal. It is more team-friendly than Lavine’s and could garner some decent offers for teams needing a scoring Big come the playoffs.

Look for Chicago to heavily shop both players at the deadline
