All in all, out of the 16 borderline basketball Hall of Fame candidates, eight are deserving of making it in and eight should fall short. There are a lot of players who deserve to be in discussion for the Hall of Fame but half of them just don't have enough of a resume.

That being said, the Hall of Fame voters may be more lenient, and some of the players who come up short here may end up making it, which is a case and point for why there needs to be an overhaul.
