3) Ball pressure
As mentioned in Rule #2, the Nuggets rely heavily on player movement. They’re excellent at finding each other with quick cuts. They average 29.2 assists per game, ranking in the top 4 in the league. Aggressive ball pressure will disrupt their passer's vision, taking away passing angles and limiting the quick hitters.
4) Make Murray a playmaker
Murray, when the lights are the brightest, hits timely shots and can put a team away. He averages 25 points per game in the playoffs and is absolutely fearless. Conversely to Jokic, you want to make Murray a passer. He can’t be allowed to play in isolation; you have to show bodies in the gap, stunt, and force him to swing it. In the post, players must dig aggressively and sometimes send a double. When Murray gets going, the Nuggets are unbeatable. He must be limited.
