Would the Golden State Warriors agree to the deal?

With Golden State pursuing Lauri Markkanen, should they fail to land him, then LaVine would seemingly be the next available all-star to try and trade for. Then again, he is likely available for a reason, with the Bulls wanting to get off his contract and teams skeptical that he can live up to his massive deal.

He might be able to still put up big numbers but is he worth giving up three rotation players? Trayce Jackson-Davis took over at center last season for Golden State, limiting Looney's role and making him expendable, while Payton II has struggled to stay healthy and Wiggins hasn't lived up to his big contract yet.

All that is to say that the Warriors wouldn't be losing as much at first glance, though Wiggins is still useful as a defender who can still have big offensive games. If the Bulls were to offer a protected first-round pick, then this might be a more tantalizing offer.

However, two second rounders probably aren't enough to get the Warriors to move depth in a deal for a star with a daunting contract and questionable health. As a result, the Warriors would probably say no unless a first-round pick is involved.
