NBA Trades: Warriors land star in huge proposed deal with Grizzlies and Jazz

NBA Trades: Would the Warriors accept this deal?
For the Warriors, the appeal is obvious. Markkanen has molded himself into a versatile offensive weapon that can score at all three levels on the court. He also does not have a high usage percentage for a volume scorer, as it is only at 25 percent, showing that he does not need to have the ball in his hands at all times to be effective.
His off ball ability and shooting is the perfect complement to Curry and makes them a dangerous offensive duo. In addition to that, the Warriors keep young forward Jonathan Kuminga in this scenario. Kuminga showed last season that when given the opportunity, he can take his game to the next level, averaging a career high in points (16), rebounds (five), and field goal percentage (53).
In the deal, the Warriors part ways with Wiggins and Moody, two players who have had inconsistent roles the last two seasons. Wiggins’ efficiency has been down all across the board since the 2022 championship, while Moody has not been able to find consistent playing time. A fresh start would be beneficial for both of them.
Golden State has also made shrewd offseason moves to add to their supporting cast, signing role players like Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson, and De’Anthony Melton to team-friendly deals to add to their depth. That, coupled with the potential arrival of Markkanen makes the Warriors one of the more dangerous teams in the Western Conference.
