NBA Trades: Would the Nuggets agree to the deal?

In this deal, the Nuggets would trade out Porter Jr., who is arguably the third-best player on their team for two starting-caliber players, Hunter and Bogdanovic. That would allow the Nuggets to effectively turn Porter Jr.'s salary into two players in an attempt to address their depth issue while getting rid of Nnaji's contract.

Nnaji's contract will pay him $18 million over the next two seasons, despite him not being in their rotation. That has contributed to the Nuggets' cap issues and possibly played an indirect role in them letting former starter KCP leave in free agency for a price that they could have easily beaten.

Jokic has already played with Bogdanovic during the Olympics for Team Serbia, with him averaging 18.3 points and 4 rebounds. He is currently the sixth man for the Hawks, but with Atlanta seemingly retooling, he could be gettable for the Nuggets.

As for Hunter, he is a three-and-d wing who could help the Nuggets shore up their defense while also adding a reliable shooter. He and Bogdanovic could replace Porter Jr. and KCP's shooting while being significantly cheaper than them, giving Denver significant salary savings in addition to getting off of Nnaji's contract.

With a projected rotation of Jamal Murray, Christian Braun, Hunter, Aaron Gordon, and Jokic as their starting five and Westbrook, Julian Strawther, Bogdanovic, Peyton Watson, Vlatko Cancar, and Dario Saric off the bench, the Nuggets would be deeper than they are now. Therefore, it might be something they consider.
